I love these people too much to cheapen to words on a blog, but I’ve got to say something. I’ve known Chris Field and Daniella Reagan for only a little over a year now, but we’ve shared so many wonderful experiences together (Burning Man twice, tending a farmita, Naked New Year, house-boating shenanigans, etc etc etc) they truly feel like family. And just the two of them together, is amazingly electric. They are both so incredibly kind, patient, and giving to one another, they should be giving lessons. There was no lack of affection or love on this shoot, making my job incredibly easy: sit back, watch the magic, smile behind the camera, and don’t forget to press the shutter. Thanks Chris for asking me to capture your this, and to the both of you for the inspirational model.
I spent this Saturday in Mississippi with my mother’s family. Always a blast. If there were such a thing, I’d say there is always too much good food, good company, and silliness all around. This Thanksgiving, I was thankful for: old and new memories with some rambunctious cousins, considerate and loving aunts and uncles, and remembering the lessons we learned about kindness from those no longer with us. Heres to family.
